In The Community

The Missouri Bank sets the standard in community banking by
becoming one with the communities we serve. We understand that
strong community involvement with the towns, local businesses and organizations, schools and local government keeps us interconnected
to the needs of the local customers we serve.

We are proud to say that we have a greater understanding of the local economy than other larger regional and national banks because our directors, officers and employees are local citizens living within the communities we serve and are actively involved in schools, churches and charitable organizations.WCR

Some examples of community involvement include local Chambers of Commerce, International Rotary, Relay for Life, Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, Kiwanis, and many more. The Missouri Bank supports the local county fairs, sheltered workshops, handicapped services and disabled athletes, 4H, FFA, Scouts, Fine Arts Council, Project Graduation, Boys and Girls Club, Veterans Memorial, Lions Club, Volunteer Fire Fighters, Youth Sports Programs, local schools and churches and much, much more.

In addition, The Missouri Bank is a strong supporter of the local and regional Economic Development Committees in order to encourage positive growth that will enhance the lives of our customers and their families. We also believe that by supporting our local students, we help to build strength within the community, preparing stronger leaders for the future. The Missouri Bank proudly offers scholarship opportunities for graduating seniors in our local high schools.

We also offer several events throughout the year for our tremendous community of customers, too! Some of our favorites include the Annual Hot Dog Day and the Holiday Open House with special guest appearances by St. Nick himself! We are so proud to have such a wonderful customer base and so many great communities to be a part of and support!

Through our involvement and our commitment to customer service, the communities have shown their support to us as well. In fact, we were chosen for the 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023 & 2024 Readers Choice Awards in the "best bank" category by the readers of Warren County Record. In 2023, we also received the title "best mortgage lender", also!  Thank you for supporting us!

Denim for Donations

Sure, we're a bank and, predictably, our employees are usually dressed pretty formal...however, sometimes we do know how to kick back! In October of 2020, The Missouri Bank started a program called "Denim for Donations". This gives our bank employees the opportunity to make donations to local non-profit organizations in return for the freedom to sport our best blue jeans every Friday. The proceeds are then pooled for the month and donated to an area charity each month - typically designated by the staff.

Since the program's inception, our total "Denim for Donations" program has exceeded $34,210.
